Notifications are essential for keeping users informed about activities on the platform. By configuring their notification preferences, users can ensure they receive the right information at the right time, enhancing both productivity and engagement.
Follow the steps below to configure your notification types and delivery methods.
1. Log into the Mesh platfrom, navigate to the bottom left corner of the Mesh User Interface, click your name, and then the View Profile option.
2.1 Scroll down to the Personal Activity section (formerly Notification Settings) and click Edit.
Notes:
- By default, the Mesh platform sends notifications via email.
- Users need to opt-in for other notifications such as SMS.
- App refers to push notifications on mobile. Click the following links to learn how to configure push notification for iOS and Android devices.Â
- The platfrom generates some notifications that are not configurable via the above interface.
2.2 Power users (e.g., those with an Admin profile) can configure an additional set of notifications related to the company’s activities. By default, this section is disabled, and we strongly recommend that users configure it according to their needs.
3. Check the type of notifications and their delivery methods (e.g., SMS, Email, App). You can select multiple delivery methods for the same notification.
Note: Mesh offers a Slack integration. Contact our team at support@meshpayments.com to learn about this option. If your company has a Slack integration the above page will include an additional column named Slack that you can check as a delivery option.Â
4. Click on Save when you are done.
Note: You may return to this page at any point in time to manage/update your notification settings.Â
