Users with an Admin profile or those with Travel Manager permissions can edit trips in status planned, in-progress and ended.
To edit a trip as a strong user, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the platform using an Admin profile or Travel Manager account.
2. Navigate to Travel β Trips β 'Trips' tab.
3. Click the three-dot icon and select the Edit trip option.Β
Alternatively, you can also click on a trip, navigate to the upper right corner, click the three-dot icon and select the Edit trip option. You can see the trip details including trip ID, total budget and more. In addition, you can use the clickable links to view the profile, manage itinerary and trip details.Β
4. Make the necessary changes, then click Submit to send the edit for approval through the Trip Edit Requests workflow.Β
5. Track the request under Travel β Trips β 'Pending approval' tab.
Notes:
- Some changes (e.g., adding or subtracting days from the trip) will affect the trip's budgets.
- If an agent was involved in the booking process and options were provided to the traveler, only the agent can and should change the trip itinerary.
- A closed trip must be reopened before it can be edited.
- Travelers (i.e., users with an Employee profile) cannot currently request trip edits. However, they can use the in-app messaging feature (i.e., Comments) to communicate with appropriate users (e..g, Travel Managers) for assistance.
