The Mesh Pro profile has recently been updated to focus exclusively on financial and operational responsibilities. In simple terms, several permissions previously available to users with a Pro profile have been revoked.Β
Important:
The 'restrictions' below apply to newly added users assigned the Pro profile.
Existing users with a Pro profile were successfully migrated and are NOT affected by these changes.Β
If you are a user with a Pro profile that is missing functionality that you had before, please contact our team at support@meshpayments.com.
Newly created users assigned the Pro profile will have limited capabilities on the Company Settings and Employees pages.Β
- Company Settings : basic access and functionality on Business Details, Company Files, Company Mailbox, and Balance Shield.

Employees Page:
- May not add, deactivate users, or grant/remove permissions to other users (e.g., Travel Manager).
- May view user's profiles and assign the following: Base Company, Approving Manager, Employee Currency, Travel Policy Group, and default Custom Fields.
Newly created users assigned the Pro profile will still maintain broad access and functionality across the Mesh apps pages, including:Β
- Dashboard
- Balance Accounting
- Reimbursement Payments / Expense Reports
- Expenses
- Cards and Budgets (including Virtual Cards, External Cards, Plug & Pay Cards, Group Budgets)
- Subscriptions
- Travel (including Trips, Duty of Care, Analytics)
- Documents
- Analytics
- Profile
Note: When an Admin adds a new user and assigns the Pro profile, the description under Access Permissions highlights the scope of the Pro profile: βGets access to all financial activities and basic configuration.βΒ
In addition, on the Employees page, the userβs profile displays the basic permissions granted.
